Road Trip, Part 1

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We rented a car yesterday with an Australian couple that we met in Salta. Our goal was to tour areas of the Salta and Jujuy provinces here in northern Argentina over four days. Day one consisted of visiting the Quebrada de Humahauca and the Salinas Grandes in Jujuy Province, located north of the city of Salta.

  1. I love Jujuy!! If you have a chance/are still there (I’m not sure how long the delay is between the travel and the posting of articles), Tilcara is a lovely town and the peñas there are so much fun

      • Unfortunately last time I was up there we didn’t make it to Humahuaca and ended up spending all of our nights in Tilcara.

I’ll be back in the area for carnaval in February though, so I’m looking forward to hearing about your experience!
